The place name "Brussels" comes from "Broekzele", meaning "settlement (zele) near the swamp (broek)". A long time ago, wolves from the Sonian forest gathered at a specific place in this swampy area, that's why the current name of our street is: Wolvengracht.
In Wolvengracht, in 1943 architect Alfred Chambon began the construction of the headquarters of ASLK, Algemene Spaar - en Lijfrentekas (General Savings and Annuity Fund), which included the famous counter room. From real wolves to financial wolves, WOLF today welcomes a mob in search of new culinary experiences.
Experiences based on authenticity, quality and the passion and skill of real artisans. All this in a unique setting, results in an exceptional total experience.
